"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

It's funny, because I'm rarely on this site, even though this place would be a great spot for me to combine my Photoshop and Flash works in one spot. I'll try to stop by here a bit more often and add a few things.
Yeah, dA's good for submitting most art, not just flashes. XD But its difficult to build up some friends to actually get comments on the stuff you submit. XD
Yeah, I submit stuff from my art classes all the time (my gallery would be pretty empty otherwise). But I only submit the stuff I think is interesting, like I have some logo designs, magazine spreads and such, that I personally don't think are very interesting to look at.
